Giangrande Engineering and Planning (GEP) is a civil engineering consulting firm based in Stuart, Florida providing services to both public and private clients throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast. Established in 2014, GEP provides extensive experience in project planning and design, both large and small. Meet The Team
GEP provides a talented design team that works as your consultant to meet project goals. Services provided includes, Land Planning, site civil engineering, stormwater design and modeling, utility design, traffic engineering, construction services, site planning, platting, rezoning and all typical approvals required for land development to technical studies.
Professional experience includes projects ranging from parks design, canal stabilization, trails and greenways, transportation planning, traffic engineering studies, roadway design, surface water management design, and expertise in the diverse range of approvals and civil design requirements for land development and infrastructure design.
Leo oversees the pursuit of projects and contracts for the firm, including the assembly of a qualified team, preparation of the RFQ/RFP package for submission, contract and budget preparation, contract negotiation, and contract execution. Leo has also provided services to the community in the areas of engineering design, construction services, multi-discipline park design, environmental permitting, regulatory coordination, and the design of project infrastructure required for all types of land development—both private and municipal.
He has extensive experience in water resources and general civil engineering, with specific experience as an engineer for several drainage districts in their operation and maintenance of canal systems.
Additional experience includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (both 1D and 2D); water quality analysis and BMP design; design of storm sewer and stormwater facilities; bank stabilization and erosion
control; civil site design; water and sewer utility design; roadway design; traffic studies; park and trail design. He has also performed multiple floodplain studies and master plans of various size and complexity throughout much of the United States, including the development of guidance to address sea level rise along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
Jarrod is currently Vice President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Southern Colorado Branch.
Dylan is a Professional Engineer (PE) with 17 years of experience in providing expertise in livability design, complete streets, sidewalk and trail designs. Dylan is a well-rounded civil engineer with practice designing site plans, roadway corridors, stormwater improvements, traffic engineering studies, permitting and bidding services. Dylan is an experienced project manager who has worked through project challenges to complete projects on schedule and within budgets. Dylan is proficient in the latest version of AutoCAD Civil3D, FDOT Standard Plans, Florida Design Manual (FDM) and is FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certified. Dylan recently served as the State Director (2021) and President (2020) for the Florida Engineering Society Treasure Coast Chapter and was nominated by the Chapter as the Young Engineer of the Year (2018).
He has over 20 years of AutoCAD experience. Some of the projects he has worked on are large scale and small-scale residential projects, commercial projects, water and wastewater treatment plants, and roadway design. He is experienced in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Autoturn software.
Throughout his career, Daniel has honed his skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, accumulating over 5 years of experience. He has successfully contributed to various projects, including site development, renovation plans, structural plans, seawall projects, shoring plans, and concrete inspections. His expertise in these areas allows him to bring innovative solutions to the table and ensure the highest level of precision in his work.
